In Dinosaur Park - Owl City Fanart

Animated diorama of Dinosaur Park, Rapid City, South Dakota. Inspired by the song of the same name that features the titular park by Owl City - depicting as the song itself does, the dinosaur statues at Dinosaur Park coming to life in the moonlight.

The song stuck to me in a very visceral way, I took the excess enthusiasm and ran with it, finishing this model within a month of it worming itself into my head.

This was a good exercise in how to rig and animate non-mechanical objects. I still have a long way to go, but this definitely felt like a leap in technique personally.

Sketchfab render, animated with post-processing effects.

Apatasaurus/Brontosaurus model. I usually use this pose for thumbnails given it's aesthetic qualities.

Edmontosaurus/Baryonyx model. I had mistaken the actual statue for a Baryonyx and every single reference to this model now refers to it as such.
