A set of rotating doors created for a personal project in Unity. Modelled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter with extra processing in Substance Designer and Photoshop. Pictures were taken using Sketchfab's renderer.
I approached this set with modularity and efficiency in mind. It was important for me to be able to swap any element for any other, thus the elements were modelled in a standardized fashion with origins preserved in Blender for easier handling in Unity.
One very useful thing I had neglected unfortunately is the usage of trimsheets for texturing the doors. I might have been able to reduce the total number of materials from 5 to 3 if that was the case. Regardless, The frames were unwrapped using the extant door materials in a fashion not dissimilar to a trimsheet.
